Our Team

The Emerald International School (EIS) prides in its qualified and widely experienced leadership and teaching faculty. The team brings together varied professional experiences key among them being teaching, early child learning, leadership, management, spiritual nurture, life skills for the youth, and special needs management.

EIS is headed by an Administrator who provides strategic oversight to the institution. The Principal provides oversight on the daily management of the school. EIS has 13 Learning Centres (LC), and each is led by a Learning Center Supervisor (LCS). The Supervisor is supported by a monitor. EIS’s Supervisors are graduates of local reputable universities such as Kenyatta, Moi, Maseno, Egerton and the University of Nairobi. The LCSs provide professional and academic support to the students. They also ensure that both formal and informal learning is continuously taking place. At EIS, we intentionally keep our classes small. Each child has an individualized working space called a “Student Office.”

EIS administration and teachers offer great support, friendship and mentorship to all our students. They offer guidance to student that ensures academic, spiritual and social excellence with a global scope. While every child in the LC receives personalized attention from the LCS and the monitor, the teaching teams continually evaluate the potential and the performance of every child.
