Dr. Annah Kyoya is a futurist, author, and a leadership professional. Anne holds a doctoral degree in Strategic Leadership and foresight from Regent University (USA), double masters degrees in Social Work/Disaster Management from University of Nairobi (UoN), and Theology/ Development from Leeds University (UK). Anne’s undergraduate degree is in Agriculture and Home Economics from Egerton University.
Dr. Kyoya is the founder, CEO, and principal trainer with Leadership Impressions Ltd, the president, Apex Leadership Dialogues, and a faculty member with a South Africa based Advanced Leadership Academy (ALAC). A member of the Association of Professional Futurists (APF), Kyoya is committed to influencing the future of her local and regional contexts.
Prior to joining Emerald International School in 2017, Dr. Kyoya worked with international NGOs for over 22 years in 12 African countries. Anne has expansive experience humanitarian relief and development, foresight, organizational leadership, culture audit, strategy development, project management, HRM, and financial management. Dr. Kyoya has also been a lecturer with Daystar University and UNISA.
Dr. Kyoya is a born again Christian, a wife, a mother, and passionate about education.
Doreen is a holder of a Bachelors’ Degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education from Moi University. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Planning at the University of Nairobi. Doreen has 10 years’ experience as an educator in both the local and international curriculum having worked as Class teacher, Head of Department, Deputy Principal in charge of Academics and currently School Principal.
She is a born again Christian and a firm believer of the Bible for both faith and practice.
Her mission as an educator is to nurture young people to become global, mature and responsible citizens who have a lasting Godly impact in their society.
Doreen’s rallying call is: “Train up a child in the he should go and when he is old he shall not depart from it” – Proverbs 6:22.
Head of Foundation School
Pauline is a Diploma holder in ECDE, with a working experience of 15 years (12 of them in ACE). She enjoys working with and moulding the lives of young children by inspiring their love for learning and helping them create a good and positive attitude towards school.
Pauline believes that the foundation level affects children for a lifetime and therefore foundation school should be a journey of endless surprises, delightful adventures and God given successes.
James is a graduate from The University of Nairobi having graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Education (Arts). He is also a certified by Google as a Digital Marketer. He previously worked as an educator in the technology sector building digital education products. James is passionate about using technology to enhance the learning experience. He enjoys creative work and coding during his free time.
Duncan is a graduate from The Technical University of Kenya in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a specialization in Finance. He is also a Certified Public Account (CPA) holder. He has worked with several non-profits organization before joining Emerald International School as their Chief Accountant. He is a firm believer that knowledge is power. He believes spiritual, professional and personal development are essential to making a positive impact in the society. When he is not in the office, he likes spending time reading, dancing and of course taking lots of coffee. He is also an avid chess player and a car enthusiast.
